Evaluation seminar of RYFDB (Regional Youth initiative for Football Development in Baltic’s) project funded by ERAMUS + Sports programme took place in Valmiera, Latvia and was hosted by Valmiera Glass VIA/FC Valmiera on the 30 of July 2020
The main topic of the seminar was the health of athletes and their improvement, as well as injury prevention. "The earlier we can start paying attention to these things, the less problems we will have as adults. It is very important to share experiences on how to make young people interested in what is useful, especially in the topics that are not interesting for them, ” said the organizer of the seminar Uldis Pucitis.

Dzintars Kazaks, CEO of Baltic Football School. presented the final version of the developed Road Map. The Road Map is a guide to players' development covering such aspects as health, safety, trauma prophylaxis, basics of nutrition etc. 'In a few days the final version of the online platform minute.coach will be ready to use for all of the project partners users. We have developed creative, playful, competition-based online platform with loads of valuable information regarding the aforementioned topics for kids, parents and coaches."

Project partners have discussed further collaboration, dissemination of good practices developed during the course of RYFDB project, especially among small sport clubs in the regions represented by project partners, planning of work programmes for possible future development of e–application designated for e–learning. It is very important to work more closely with National Football federations to share a message with all the interested parties in Baltic states. We are sure that together we can do more to deliver this product minute.coach to it potential users.

The project partners have discussed further cooperation for the dissemination of good practices developed during the RYFDB project, especially among small sports clubs in the regions represented by the project partners. The scope of work to create a mobile e-application that could be used for e-learning in the future was also discussed.

"BFS, Valmiera FC, FC Elva and Siauliai FA have discussed and finalized the idea of an interactive e-application that could be developed in the near future and used as an attractive tool for young athletes, their parents and coaches, thus creating a more attractive approach for the younger generation, provide easy real-time access and exchange of information on health, safety, injury prevention, nutrition and other relevant training topics.
